Welcome to the User Page of DShamen. I have been a registered member of Wikipedia since early June 2006 and have made a number of contributions to Wikipedia, most recently creating articles for people from the traditional county of Lancashire, and also Bournemouth and Poole... I have also devoted a lot of time to finding people for these categories and also the People from Oldham category.

I have been a contributor on Wikipedia much longer though, I finally decided to set up an account after being fed up of reading about vandalism from users on the same IP address!

I currently reside in Blackpool, Lancashire although I have strong family roots in Bournemouth and Oldham.

I'm interested in travelling, and have reasonable knowledge of German and Dutch, and brief knowledge of French. I'm also a keen sports fan and an electronic dance music nut. Feel free to contact me at any time!
