Dryad is a fictional character in Marvel Comics' X-Men comic franchise. She had the power control plant life and plant growth. According to the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning's Yearbook, Callie's favourite hobbies were the outdoors and spending time with her father. She was also a vegeterian She disliked greed and large corporations. She was also voted as having the 'Coolest Codename'. Dryad was a member of the Corsairs, along with Specter, Quill and the Stepford Cuckoos, who led the team. However, after Scarlet Witch's actions of M-Day Dryad was depowered and boarded the bus to leave the Institute, only to be killed by William Stryker when the bus was blown up, killing the depowered students.
