Dove is a brand of chocolate candy produced by Mars, Incorporated. Dove Chocolate is the market leader in premium chocolate and is the number one dark chocolate sold in the United States[citation needed]. The product line includes Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Caramels. Created in 1956 by a Greek-American immigrant from Chicago, Leo Stefanos, who would worry whenever his two young sons dashed after the neighborhood ice cream truck. To keep them safe, he spent months developing his own ice cream treat. Before long, the Dovebar was the talk of the neighborhood.[1]
