Dezső Bánffy

Dezső Baron Bánffy de Losoncz (1843-1911) was a Hungarian politician who served as Prime Minister of Hungary from 1895 to 1899. Openly and violently oppressed minorities and opposition parties. His policies and actions generated great revulsion. In 1899 his cabinet was outlawed and he was deposed.
