Demonic Resurrection are a heavy metal band from Bombay, India.

The band was founded in March 2000 in Bombay, India by a group of guys of whom The Demonstealer is one. Demonic Resurrection released it's first album Demonstealer soon after formation in November, 2000 but the album was poorly received.
The album was later re-recorded in July-August 2001 and released again when it was better received. Within the next couple of years, the band went through many changes untill The Demonstealer remained the only member from the original line-up.
The current line-up of the band was formed in January 2003 and since then the four members have stuck together. The band released their second album A Darkness Descends in 2005. The album was received with rave reviews among the black metal afficiandos in India.
The Band has sold more than 800 copies of "A Darkness Descends".

In 2006 Pradeep joined the lineup as the lead guitaritist and the drummer JP left to concerntrate on his Death Metal band Infernal Wrath.

Though primarily heavily influenced by the Scandinavian style of black metal, the band also cites influences ranging from Norwegian black metal and power metal to death metal and thrash metal.
They identify their own style as something called Demonic Metal. Which is actually Death Metal/Black Metal combination.
