"* The film has become standard viewing for many high school English classes in North America, popularly on how the J.D. Salinger novel "The Catcher in the Rye" has influenced modern literature and cinema. "
- I did not understand your intent of this sentence. Please correct it. JamieJones talk 04:21, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Now, I am going to have to watch this again, because I don't think Neil committed suicide with his father's gun. I could be totally wrong, but I have this scene in my head: After Neil's huge success as Puck, and after the confrontation with his father, he simply jumps, in his Puck costume, from the window. I can't remember a gun. Going to have to watch it again!
You definetly need to watch it again--Neil does kill himself with his father's gun.
- That's correct. There was no window, and no jumping. JackofOz 00:36, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

- I think there were windows back then. And jumping. BonniePrinceCharlie 01:28, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
