David Newman (composer)

David Newman (b. March 11, 1954, in Los Angeles, California), is an American composer known particularly for his music for the movies.
He is a son of the late Hollywood composer Alfred Newman, brother of the Hollywood composer Thomas Newman, and a cousin of composer Randy Newman.
His scores include The Phantom, The Brave Little Toaster, Anastasia, Ice Age, and Serenity.
He received an Academy Award nomination for the score to the animated film Anastasia.
He's currently working on the score for I Married a Witch.
