Darren Pang

Darren Pang (February 17, 1964 in Meaford, Ontario) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Standing only 5-foot-5, Pang was one of the shortest players ever in the modern era of the NHL. He was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1988.
His best friend is former Detroit Red Wings captain, Steve Yzerman. He was the best man at Yzerman's wedding.
Today, Pang is a color commentator for the Phoenix Coyotes TV broadcasts and a part time playoff analyst for TSN. He was recently named an "Inside the Glass" reporter for regular season and playoff action for The NHL on NBC. Before joining the Coyotes, he was the #2 analyst for The NHL on ESPN and The NHL on ABC, as well as a reporter for NBC's coverage of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
