Dari Alexander

Dari Alexander is the co-anchor of WNYW's weeknight 6pm newscast, and previously a reporter and part-time anchor for the Fox News Channel. In January 2006, Alexander and Fox News colleague, Rick Folbaum debuted on the station's 6 o' clock news after getting reassigned. Alexander and Folbaum have respectively substituted for the stations main anchors — Rosanna Scotto and Ernie Anastos — for the 5pm and 10pm news shows. They have also substituted on Good Day New York.
Prior to joining FNC, Alexander served as a weekend anchor/reporter for WFAA-TV (ABC) in Dallas, Texas and as a reporter/fill-in anchor at WCMH-TV (NBC) in Columbus, Ohio. She was also a weekday fill-in anchor at WHBF-TV (CBS) in Rock Island, Ill.
Alexander began her career working as a reporter for a local Long Island news station and later, as an associate producer for CBS. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and New York University's (NYU) journalism program.
