[edit] Track listing

  1. "Like A Surgeon" (Yankovic) – 3:32
    • parody of "Like A Virgin" by Madonna, about an incompetent surgeon performing surgery
  2. "Dare to Be Stupid" (Dicola, Yankovic) – 3:25
    • style parody of "Big Mess" by Devo (with a little bit of "Deep Sleep" as well), this song is about all the ways you can be stupid and have fun with it. Is one of Al's more renowned original songs.
    • It was also used in Transformers: The Movie as the theme song for the Junkions.
  3. "I Want A New Duck" (Yankovic) – 3:04
  4. "One More Minute" (Yankovic) – 4:04
    • generic doo-wop parody. Singer describes the myriad tortures he would sooner endure than spending one more minute with his ex-girlfriend.
    • Yankovic wrote this song about an ex-girlfriend. Her picture can be seen being torn up in the video.
  5. "Yoda" (Davies, Yankovic) – 3:58
  6. "George Of The Jungle" (Allman, Worth) – 1:05
    • cover version of the George Of The Jungle theme song. Yankovic's record company suggested that he do a straight cover song on this particular album.
  7. "Slime Creatures From Outer Space" (Yankovic) – 4:23
    • Earth is under attack by the title characters. Style parody of "Hyperactive" by Thomas Dolby
  8. "Girls Just Want To Have Lunch" – 2:48
    • parody of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. Yankovic originally resisted recording this song, but the record producers insisted he do a Cyndi Lauper parody. The song is about every girl's habit of afternoon meals.
  9. "This Is the Life" (Yankovic) – 3:06
    • Exaggerated description of a lavish lifestyle, used in the gangster spoof movie Johnny Dangerously. The 1930s style orchestration was written entirely by Yankovic.
  10. "Cable TV" (Yankovic) – 3:38
    • Singer describes his love of cable television. This is a style parody of Randy Newman.
  11. "Hooked On Polkas" – 3:53
