Hi, as you may have guessed my name is Dale. Im 23 and live in Cape Town, South Africa. I'm an electro-mechanical engineer by trade, and work with automation of machines as much as possible. I work for a company in Cape Town called www.oneoverzero.co.za. Obviously this is a super-geeky play on words...

My other love is flying, and in particular competition aerobatics. I also am interested in artificial intelligence and evolutionary/swarm intelligence with engineering and optimisation applications.

We use a Wiki at work for all our online project documentation so I know my way around the editing suite, but my spelling can be pretty bad, so my apologies in advance.

I don't think I'm extremely knowledgeable about the thing I write about, but I also realise that it’s much easier to edit than write from scratch. So I will try and write some of the things other people won't or haven’t, and just hope other people edit and correct my work along the way.
