2598 Merlin

2598 Merlin is a small main belt asteroid, which was discovered by Edward L. G. Bowell in 1980. It is named after Merlin, the legendary British wizard who helped King Arthur.

Merlin is a C-type asteroid, meaning it is dark in colour and carbonaceous in composition.
