School IP address Attention:

This host mail1.gettysburg.k12.pa.us, is registered to Gettysburg Area School District (US) and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. In the case of institutions using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. (In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case we invite you to try again at a later time or from a different computer.)

Note: Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block with the template {{schoolblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia because of disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism, including page blanking or addition of random text, spam, or deliberate misinformation; privacy violations; personal attacks; and repeated and blatant violations of WP:NPOV will not be tolerated. [edit] Blocked

If you wish to edit at school, please create an account at home and log in here.

Due to persistent vandalism, editing by anonymous users from your school or institution's IP address is currently disabled. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation at this address has also been temporarily disabled. If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's webpage. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  ►  14:33, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request.

Request reason: " I really truly and done messing around with the internet. Especially Wikipedia. Thanks a bunch for reading. Please review your decision."

Decline reason: "See above. --  Netsnipe  ►  14:37, 8 December 2006 (UTC)"

Administrators: This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.

Netsnipe, why did you unblock me and then reblock me? I really have a true disire to quit messing up Wikipedia. I don't wish to mess it up anymore. But on my 'Block log' it appears that you unblocked me and then unblocked me within minutes of each other. For what reason did you do this? And what is nessecarry from me to prove that I'm done feloniously editing these articles. I do not dissagree with your decision to block me the first two times for my inappropriate comments, but I don't feel it is needed to unblock me only to reblock me. Please reconsider your decision Netsnipe, thank you very much.

I reblocked in order to change the block reason to something more informative for the benefit of the rest of the students at your school. If you want to edit Wikipedia, you can continue to do so, but you'll need to create an account at home first. Your school has lost the privilege of being able to editing Wikipedia anonymously since there's no accountability with anonymous vandals. --  Netsnipe  ►  16:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Though it is obvious that there is a lack of accountability, it is also obvious that the student in question has decided, smartly, to cease foolishly editing the internet. And thus, I believe that is is paramount that you show a little good faith and allow the students that enojoy making creative edits to the website to continue. Even if a few bad apples are apparent, I believe that giving people another chance, will show real faith and would be greatly appreciated by thos of us that are respectable students at our school. I believe Janurary 1st is a tad bit much... Even if those responsible should be punished. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this page regardless of your decision.
