[edit] Deleted page....regards to 'not noteworthy'...

I read the guidelines as to what is noteworthy, and it appears that it a subject that has a large amount of professional publications and research. Nursing and it's subspecalties certaintly fall under this category, as it it a well established profession, with a long tradition of research and professional publications. As to not having it in the article, If you would let me know how you would like to see it worked in in other than references, I would appricate any advice that you have for me. Other than that, I did put into the talk page that it was an unfinished project, as it is a work that will take a little time. Please consider restoring the page, as I feel it would be a valuble contribution to Wikipedia, and also to the profession of nursing to allow for a more through public understanding of the critical care subspecality. Thank you for your time on this, and I look forward to having you assist me with the creation of this page. --LucasRN 10:49, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfB

Guten tag, 1ne! I have nominated you for bureaucratship; see Wikipedia:Requests for bureaucratship/1ne. Good luck! MESSEDROCKER 02:34, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] First off...

I stand by my statement. - Mailer Diablo 13:03, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I accept the apology. I'd appreciate it more if it were done earlier in the past. Just don't repeat anything similiar in future anywhere. - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 14:03, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your RfB

Don't know if you noticed, but I left a couple of questions for you at the bottom of your RfB, if you wouldn't mind taking a look. Thanks. --Majorly (Talk) 23:47, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA thanks

I would like to express my appreciation of the time you spent considering my successful RfA. Thankyou Gnangarra 13:12, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You're and admin?

So your saying that your 13 and an admin?? Weird.. I'm born in april and someone younger than me has over 6,000 edits.. --Ard0 19:15, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] On title template

That template is used to fake the software interface, by using CSS to alter parts of the apparent content that are not supposed to be editable. It's confusing - it makes it seem that your userpage is located in article space. I suggest you stop using it. --Improv 13:31, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

  • My position on it is not changed - it is regretful that MfD went the way it did, and IMO such things should be removed on sight. I consider it poor judgement on your part to put your desire to look cool above the confusion allowing people to fake interface elements causes. --Improv 16:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't that be disabled in software then? If you think of it as a security hole, then obscurity isn't really going to help much anymore. :-P Kim Bruning 22:15, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Perhaps we should disable the ability to hurt each other by removing everyone's arms at birth. There's still a use in trying to convince people to be sensible when they're not. It's not a security hole so much as it is rude. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Improv (talkcontribs).
How, exactly, is it rude? 1ne 23:31, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
As used on your userpage, it introduces confusion in users on whether they're on a Userpage or an article (especially users who don't have a location bar set to display). A reasonable person could land on your userpage and think it's an article, start to move it into userspace (or delete it) and then notice the inconsistency. Alternatively, new users might start to make pages in articlespace after seeing what you've done. At the very least, it makes it harder for users to tell where they are, and tells them that they can't trust the MediaWiki interface. This is rude. --Improv 00:05, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
The URL states where you are. I'd also appreciate if you stopped acting confrontational. 1ne 00:08, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
URL bars are only useful for technical users, and most people trust the software interface (which you undermine). Some browsers don't have a location bar to show the URL, and a lot of users have the location bar disabled if they don't use it. I'm being confrontational to confront you with problem behaviour. I'm not being impolite, simply direct. What you're doing hurts the project. --Improv 04:47, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Let me look into it and find a solution. Danny 05:08, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title-modifying support

I wasn't going to send thank-you cards, but the emotional impact of hitting WP:100 (and doing so unanimously!) changed my mind. So I appreciate your confidence in me, and hope you'll let me know if I can do anything for you in the future. Cheers! -- nae'blis 22:47, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My RfA

Oh, the humanity!

I had my doubts about accepting a nomination for a second RfA, but even I couldn't have predicted the stir it caused as it drifted to the ground in flames! Still, it was as educational as ever. Thanks for your input; it will be on my mind as I continue to edit Wikipedia, and perhaps I will have earned your support if another nomination comes around. Kafziel Talk 14:56, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA thanks

Thank you for voting in my RfA, I passed. I appreciate your input. Please keep an eye on me(if you want) to see if a screw up. HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 16:41, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

Image:Configure.png Thanks for your support at my RfA. I've got a lot to learn, but your words of support mean a lot! Any advice is welcome as I learn to use the new tools, and as a fellow administrator, would be much appreciated! Thanks again, and forgive my use of this dorky message box :) -- Renesis (talk) 00:44, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

P.S., I still don't see how you live without popups! :)

[edit] Concordia Newsletter

NEWSLETTER

Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.

[edit] Help out now!

  • Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
  • Give people the Civility Barnstar.
  • Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
  • Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
  • Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.

We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.

[edit] Decision Making

The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.

If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.
