Hi MAN, I am a student from Denmark who currently is doing a project about MAN. In that connection you have earlier, upon request, sent me a free CD with different images of MAN (products, logos etc.). Due to both my increasing interest and knowledge about MAN and the content of my project I have described MAN on the website www.wikipedia.org.
I was not aware of the strict copyrights and I thus write to you to ask for your permission to use the pictures from your picture cd on the website. I hope you will allow as I promise you that I will not abuse the pictures in any way and I hope you can agree with me that the information on the webpage about MAN is true. I will most probably be using the profile on wikipedia in my project and I myself find it more interesting if there are pictures on the page.

we appreciate your efforts to present the MAN Group on the Wikipedia website. We checked the page and are pleased to see that the contents are correct.
As for the pictures, we would like you to add (MAN photo) in the caption. You may use all the pictures of our CD in this way.

Unfortunately I cannot authorise all the photos on our Images CD for overall use of anybody. Our copyright does not allow this.

Any and all image material which is used for editorial or scientific purposes, altered in full or in part, duplicated and/or electronically alienated shall include a clearly-visible reference to the source "MAN press photo" at all times. What we can do, however, is to allow overall use of the four photos we found on the German Wikipedia page (see copy enclosed). Three of them are also shown on the English page.
