The Legend of Zelda (Japanska: ゼルダの伝説), namnet på ett TV-spel som var revolutionerade när det lanserades till spelkonsolen NES i mitten av 1980-talet. Spelet skapades av mannen Shigeru Miyamoto, som även är känd för spelet Super Mario Bros. Spelet tillverkades av Nintendo. Senare är det namnet på en hel serie spel som samtliga har titeln The Legend of Zelda, med en medföljande särskiljande undertitel till olika spelkonsoler som Nintendo har gjort. Huvudpersoner är hjälten Link och prinsessan Zelda och antagonisten är oftast Ganondorf Dragmire eller hans alter ego Ganon.
