Western Football League Premier Division

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Western Football League Premier Division is a football competition based in England. It sits at step 5 (or level 9) of the National League System. The top club can be promoted to the Southern Football League South and West Division, while the bottom club (s) will get relegated to the Western Football League Division One. In the 2005-06 season, Bideford won the title for the third season in a row. However, the club has not applied for promotion over that span due to the long travelling distances in Step 4 from Devon, a stumbling block shared by many other members of the Western Football League. For the 2006-07 season, there are 22 clubs competing in the Premier Division.
