Webbington

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Webbington is a hamlet located in Somerset, a region in the south west of England. It is adjacent to the M5 motorway and lies between the slightly larger villages of Loxton, Compton Bishop and Cross. It is popular with hikers as it has many good footpaths leading up to Crook Peak, at the western edge of the Mendip Hills, and is part of the Wessex walk route leading from Weston-super-Mare to Wells.

The Webbington Hotel[1] dominates the hamlet and is the only commercial building in the immediate area.
