Warneet, Victoria

Warneet is a costal village just outside MelbourneVictoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Casey. One of the Coastal Villages of the City of Casey, on the northern shores of Western Port Bay. A small village of only 245 houses and a population of about 500 people. Known for excellent fishing, birdwatching and pleasant walking tracks along the foreshore and in surrounding bushland. Warneet is not immune to the ever developing push in this world, recent conflict has arisen over the application for the subdivision of land blocks. If you ever find yourself looking at Quail Island from the coast of Warneet (wondering where you took the wrong turn and how on earth you found such an amazing pocket of scrub), you will be just fine if you have a hand reel or fishin' rod with you. Just grab some bait from the local store and take a stroll down the main or North jetty's and find a comfy spot to drop in a line. Make sure you stay for the sunset, it's a rippa.
