Imposter of User:HighwayCello, Minun has created other imposter accounts, noted at Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Minun and Category:Imposters of HighwayCello. User has had heavy sockpuppet usage. Highway ^Batman! 15:56, 10 July 2006 (UTC) 15:55, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Not to users: I don't know if this is the right place to state this, but I justthink its important you know this : I've stopped doing thesr things (about 1-2 weeks ago) and am making good edits, please ask a couple of other editors, particulary the ones who commented on my talk pahge (including the archives) and the Pokémon Collaborative Project. I must agree that Minun has completely stopped the actions that got him this ArbCom case. He is now, in my opinion, a model Wikipedian. ~ crazytales56297 -talk- 20:28, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

I've been avoiding jumping in here, but "two weeks ago" is after there were already 3 votes for a one year ban, and the imposter account HighwayCeIIo was created after the one year ban was proposed by Fred. The last chance for a really meaningful and effective apology was June 14, before the arbitration committee voted to accept the case. Thatcher131 (talk) 10:49, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm not familiar with the details of this case, but I have to say that the time to "plead guilty and make restitution in the hopes of a lighter sentence" would be, ideally as Thatcher says, before the case began, but at any rate, certainly before it's essentially run its course. (I believe there were 6 or 8 remedies passing 6-0, and two votes to close, at the time of said intervention from Minun. That's more than a little last-gasp.) I'm also somewhat concerned by comments like this. If what he "knows to do" is appeal to the arbcom and/or cease editing during the ban, fair enough, but otherwise... Alai 23:40, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
