The Wainwrights are the 214 fells (hills and mountains) described in A. Wainwright's seven-volume Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells (1955–1966). The term is occasionally extended to include the 102 fells mentioned in Wainwright's supplementary volume The Outlying Fells of Lakeland (1974). The said fells are listed here by book, sorted in descending order of height. See also List of fells in the Lake District for a full list in height order, with height data.

Note: the organisation of The Outlying Fells differs from the Pictorial Guide in that it consists of a series of walks, some of them taking in several summits, rather than devoting a chapter to each fell. It is therefore more difficult to create a definitive list of Wainwright's outlying fells, and they are usually excluded from the list of Wainwrights, but many walkers still bag them.
