Allison Stillwell is an interim sciences student at Columbia State Community College, although she previously studied the Japanese language and music at Bennington College, the German language at the Free University of Berlin, and history and the French language at Wittenberg University. She is originally from Brentwood, Tennessee and graduated in 2003 from Battle Ground Academy in neighbouring Franklin, Tennessee. Next year, she will be beginning the nursing programme at Belmont University; after graduation, she hopes to go into the Peace Corps' Master's International Programme at Johns Hopkins University for public health. Eventually, she would like to work for an aid agency in Francophone Africa.
More personally, Allison is the proud owner of a Golden Retriever named Bellamy who is in training to be a therapy dog in the greater Nashville area and his incredibly naughty 'sister', an English Setter named Zoë. Additionally, she and her family own seventeen cats, including a feral cat colony--they work with feral cats and kittens to help them be adopted by loving families. She loves maps, iPods, paper parasols, vintage Communist propaganda posters, Dr. Strangelove, Apple Computers, and the movie Red Eye. She is a certified SCUBA diver, loves to ski, enjoys world travel, and is absolutely mad for cats and dogs. Also, she supports a free Tibet, but opposes the UN mostly because of Kofi Annan.
Allison is also the author of the Pornosseuse Report, a weekly pornography report written from the point of view of a jaded college student who spent the first few terms of her college career participating in "Porn Wednesdays" in the common room of Bennington's Perkins dorm.
