[edit] Biography
I was born on August 3, 1981 in Sylvan Beach, New York, USA. I received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, in 2001. Since 2001, I have lived in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where I am employed in the telecommunications industry.
I don't hold any steadfast religious or political beliefs, but I don't shy away from discussing these topics, or editing related articles if I can spot a factual problem.
My fiancée is Korean, born in 1981 in Seoul, South Korea. She is my source for cultural perspective on Korea- and Asia-related articles, and my reluctant tutor in the Korean language (한국어) as well. I studied Japanese (日本語) in high school as part of a program that also included study of East Asian cultures and geography. But don't call me an egg — I have respect for my European roots, and you might see my name on a few Ireland-related articles, as well.
I enjoy Cars and motorsports, primarily Japanese cars from the 1970s through the 1990s. I own a 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata, and have previously owned a few Nissan S platform vehicles including an S12 200SX and two S13 240SXs.
