• Fastest Lap: Nigel Mansell 1'27.176
• This was the third-closest finish in Formula One history, after Mansell's spectacular charge allowed him to pull alongside Senna on the final straight.
• After this race, Lola switched to Ford Cosworth engines, beginning a run of continous Cosworth participation in F1 which will not end until the first race of 2007.
