The 2002 Bali terrorist bombings where a series of bombings on the Inodonesian island of Bali. 202 people died, mostly Australians, Indonesians and British.

At around 10:00 a bomb teared throgh a bar on Bali. It was a backpack bomb, and olny the person who owned the backpack died. A few seconds later, a larger bomb went off. This bomb was close to 1,000 kilograms.

A terrorist group called Jemaah Islamiyah are beleved to be responsible for making and exploding the device.
