I request that User:Soulbot get a bot flag. The bot will do Interwiki work (interwiki.py) across several wikipedias, on articles mainly about organic species, but also on some biographies and other non-ambigous articles. Editing many wikipedias at once is more effective and saves bandwidth. I therefore ask for bot-status here on ka.wikipedia. See contributions (en - da - sv) to get an idea of what the bot is doing, and no:Bruker:Soulbot for the current status on different Wikipedias. Hello, I am Thijs! from the Netherlands. i would like to request a bot flag for my bot Thijs!bot. It uses pywikipedia and will do over-night runs where it changes unambigious links. Ambigious links are only done in manual mode. As a start the bot uses Flacus' warnfiles and the Dutch wikipedia. I would like a bot flag to run my interwiki-bot TuvicBot (using Pywikipedia). This bot will run in manually assisted mode, adding and updating interwiki-links, using the Dutch wiki as a starting point. I'm mostly planning to solve interwikis that autonomous bot skip because they're ambigious. (And sorry for not speaking in your language)

- Hi there, Tuvic. There's no problem in setting the bot flag on your bot. Unfortunately, and as far as I know, no admin at KA Wikipedia has the privilege of setting a bot flag. Usual requests are made at Meta's Requests for bot status. I understood you already did that and you were redirected here. I contacted Angela Beasley for aid on this matter and will get back to you as soon as possible. (Thanks for pointing me out this matter, Alsandro ;))

- To reply: no, I did not yet ask for a flag at meta: part of the requirements here at meta is that the local community (you: ka-wiki) agrees with the bot. Also, I thought you people had a local bureaucrat, and I did not check that. Apparently, there's no bureaucrat here, so I should make a request at meta, now that local approval is present.

Hi, all. As you probably noticed already, I have been running a bot (MalafayaBot) to automate some tasks (interwiki exchange and text replacements). As you also may have noticed, the Recent Changes page gets cluttered with all the bot's work and that's annoying. First of all, I'd like to propose the regular use of this bot here at Georgian Wikipedia as there's no other regularly checking pages. Secondly, I'd like to ask to Wikimedia stewards to mark is as a bot: this will allow the changes made by the bot to be hidden from the Recent Changes page by default (you can still see them if you click on the Show Bot link). Please for bot flag for my bot. It's interwiki bot working on cs:, his main domain is human assisted problematical interwiki and interwiki for same names of articles (this operation is working on about 40 languages at same time, but maximal 10 pages per day).
Sometimes this bot do standard interwiki addiction, but only in the languages with bot flag.
Bot is based on pywikipedia.
- Already with bot status: cs, eo, sl, pl, de, sr, hr, da, tr, es, fr and sh
- Awaiting for bot: en, fr, ar, it, gl, pt...
