Sebuah angkutan cepat, kereta bawah tanah, metro adalah sebuah sistem jalan rel, yang biasa dibangun di perkotaan, yang biasanya membawa kapasitas dan frekuensi besar, menggunakan kereta besar dan pemisahan keseluruhan atau hampir seluruhnya dengan lalu lintas lainnya.
