I am
officially in the and
Science Academy">Illinois Mathematics and
Science Academy class of 2009. As far as I understand it, my Wikipedia time may be diminished for a short while for the first couple of weeks of the first year (So August 2006 to mid September tops), because they are
a residential magnet school and
they don't give in-room networking to new students for the first part of their sophomore year as a part of policy. Also, the amount of work that I will get might reduce the amount of free time I have
By the way, speaking of languages, these are
the languages I speak. Note that I listed russian as native, however I lived in the US most of my life so my Russian skills are
closer to ru-2 (intermediate) than ru. Also, I am
learning spanish in school. I've had a year and
a half of it, however it
was middle school foreign language (and am
now in Spanish 2 in my high school) so I don't know how well I really know it. :-D I'd include all that stuff like html-4, php-2, frfx, etc. but I find those slightly silly, and
not really useful for our purposes here.
As for computer languages, I am
learning C#. I know PHP pretty well. CSS and XHTML very well. Finally, I plan to learn Java and Scheme some time in the future.
I have
been on Wikipedia since May 7, 2003. Started because of a school project on governments, and
now I'm addicted. I was an
active member, then left for a while when I discovered life. it
wasn't all it's made out to be. ;-)
"Wikipedia is
not 'all about process' and
such an
attitude is
absolutely contrary to our longstanding community spirit. Wikipedia is
all about people, about mutual respect, about thoughtfulness and
respect for others as individuals. The rules lawyers of Wikipedia are
a sickness upon us." --Jimbo Wales

Pro-Abortion already has been born." -- Ronald Reagan
